My Style & Approach to Wedding Photography

Wedding photography is my pride and joy that I’ve done for more than a decade. Each wedding I am blessed to photograph, whether in Denton, DFW, or around the globe, is an absolute honor, because I am aloud in intimate settings where only family and close friends are let into in order to get ready for the exciting celebration. My style of shooting wedding photography is natural and relaxed. I believe that photos should represent the people there taken of in both posing and editing. I have a naturalistic way of editing my images that enhance their beauty with subtle tones and colors. My favorite light is natural light, but I have a strong understanding with artificial light and use it when necessary. I’ve been able to travel and shoot in just about every lighting situation to where I’ve learned to setup lighting that works well with the scenario and captures those awesome wedding moments.

My goal is to provide relaxed and fun wedding photography that brings out your unique personality and results in professional quality photos that you will absolutely love!

What Sets Me Apart?

Excited for Stress

I’ve done enough weddings that I’m excited to face any challenges or change in the wedding day schedule. This is one of the most important days in your life, and having a photographer that will deal with all situations calmly and professionally will add to a wonderful experience.

I have my undergraduate degree in photography from the University of North Texas. Since graduation, I’ve worked on chaotic large commercial shoots to sweet newborn sessions, and have even photographed a wedding on the beautiful beachside of Jamaica (amazing). It’s been such a ride, and I’ve learned from all it in order to serve my brides and grooms so that they get the images they want and deserve.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have edited jewelry shoots for Neiman Marcus and other companies, of which have taught me how to work fast and get what I want in my images. I approach my editing in a naturalistic way, keeping the tones and colors natural in order to make my bride and groom look timeless and beautiful.

I’m a man with a quiet and realized demeanor. I love meeting new people and getting to know my clients before the big day in order to know what poses and images they desire. I do not try to force my clients into a pose that looks like somebody else, but reflects their personality and love for one another. Also, I love trying out new coffee shops.

Your Big Day: What to Expect?

This is one of the most memorable, romantic and celebratory days of your life, so get ready to have some fun!

If you’re feeling a little nervous, don’t worry – that’s normal. Leave it to me! I’ll help create a relaxing atmosphere so that you can feel free to shine. My casual, natural style of shooting will make you feel comfortable and at ease, which will bring out the best in you and your party.

Above all…. relax!
